We sent our package last May 23. my fiance received an email and text today, May 30 confirming that our case was received.

Our case receipt starts at SRC so that means texas service center will handle our application.

Am i right?

How long are we going to wait for the next update? It felt different since tsc will handle it. This is going to be a long waiting game.

Does all cases forwarded to TSC takes 5-9 months to get approved?

That's really interesting that TSC is handling your case because from what I've seen here on the site, most Philippines Cases are sent to CSC (California). Hopefully someone who is petitioning for a Philippine fiancee will chime in with more information. Anyway welcome to the Journey! (F)

Not necessarily. OP doesn't show on her profile what State petitioner lives in, that can make a difference. Also, when petitioner receives NOA1 hard copy in the mail, it may say on it that CSC is the service center. That's what happened to me. Or it may be transferred to CSC in the next few weeks. Several Philippines filers here have had that happen recently.

When I petitioned I was at the TSC and I wasn't transferred at all. I'm not sure if they are still expediting petition for the phil but mine was accepted March 18th and in less than 2 months it went thru all the channels and its at the embassy in Manila waiting for me to set a interview date. Just to make it clear my fiancée wasn't affected by the typhoon. If you call USCIS or NVC they will give you the basic time frame for each step you go thru. Hope this helps and you can check my timeline out to see all the dates.

I think it is safe to say that you were expedited as 36 days is far below the norm for the TSC. I have seen several others say they were not affected by the typhoon yet they were still expedited. I don't know that there is any rhyme or reason to the methods guiding USCIS in the expedite process. I would guess that there are procedures to follow, but I would also guess they are not being followed by some of the agents involved in the screening process. In other words, if they see Philippines, they automatically expedite it rather than if it was location X, Y or Z in the Philippines as the memorandum stated.

Count your blessings and enjoy the rest of the ride.

OP...if you would provide the state where your petitioner lives, it would give us a pretty good idea as to where you will be processed. Transfers are very rare even though you see many in the timelines here. Those are incorrect as they misunderstood the difference between being routed to a service center and being transferred from one that was already processing to another. A completely different situation. Whether you will be expedited or not...who knows?
