im so happy right now my wife's visa was approved on the 22 of may in santo domingo happy happy 11 months for this journey but worth it ok my question now is how do I pay for her green card and if I have to pay it before she travel to the us tanks please some help ????????☺☺☺☺??????????

Once she picks up the Visa package go to this site http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis

No you do not have to pay before she arrives. The stamp in passport at POE will suffice as the temp green card stamp. But no green card comes in mail until you pay the $165 fee. So many like to pay to avoid any issues.

The visa package arrives sealed, correct? It can not be opened? Is there information in that visa package that is needed to pay the $165 green card fee??? Also, what will our fiance's need when checking into the airport and going through immigration in the Dominican Republic? Is there cedula all they will need for Dominican Republic?

We are talking about IR1/CR1 married. You are a K1 the fee doesn't apply to you. You still have to get married and adjust status.

The stamp in passport at POE will suffice as the temp green card stamp.

The stamp you speak of is a standard CBP entry stamp. That stamp by itself means nothing, it is a combination of the visa itself and a standard entry stamp on the page next to it that acts as the temporary green card.

June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

I check the status on line CEAC and is keep going from Ready to PA, back to Ready and PA now is been few days on Ready againg. Little worry about this situation, Does anybody have the same problem? Our appointment was May 20 and our status was on ap until June 10 th when it was finally changed to issued. Our visa was delivered today!!! I was worried too :)
