Hi everyone!

I am new in here :) ..I am just wondering how long will you be able to receive the first noa?

My fiancee just sent the package last May 9.. but still we havent recieved the noa1 up to now.

Just by exploring, Ive notice to some applicants they recieved it within the week from the day that they sent

their documents to the service center.

Hi dear,

Welcome new comer. Normally, within 10 days you can get noa1 . Did you send by usps or fedex, got your tracking number then check online . If it was in uscis and you didnt get receipt means that you shorted some thing. Then ps call them and ask.

Just like everything else in this process there is some degree of randomness in how fast you get something. Took me 14 days to get my NOA1.

Did you sign up for USCIS emails? You get an email as soon as your NOA1 or NOA2 is issued and don't have to wait for the snail mail to see what is going on.

Thanks everyone for the reply. .

My fiancee recieved a message that they have our documents already (USCIS office) though.

But thats it. And still waiting for the NOA1 :(

That is your NOA1. It's basically just a letter stating that they've received your petition. It should have a number on it that starts with SRC. That's your receipt/case number. If it has that then it's definitely your NOA1.
