We're headed to our friends' (and fellow VJers) wedding in IL. I'm the Maid of Honor :o

Should be a nice little getaway though. I think Angus will probably be devastated when we leave him. Sad about leaving the boys.

Have to figure out something to do with the fish! I wonder if they have tablets for this type of thing.

they have "vacation feeders" for your fish.

How dare you abandon Dex and Gus !

I was reading about them. I might try one, but I think they're hit and miss. Could overfeed, could not feed at all, etc.

I don't want to come home and find Betta Fish dead :(

Yes, that is his name.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Also isn't GF in ND?

Technically speaking, but the true city straddles both states. The MN side is called EGF.

Well, that ain't where I am actually going, except for shopping purposes.

Awww that is nice!

I am so awful and terrible that I left my fish in the care of someone who didn't feed them for a month. They were still kicking, regrettably. I hated those fish.

Word. I've only ever driven through. Is that close to where you'll be moving?

Hahahaha why?!

if you're going away for say 4 days, then feed for 2 days. they can go the last 2 without food.

Sorta, as in drivable. My sense of distance might be a little off based on where I live - it only take an hour to traverse the entire height of my sad little state.

Where I'm moving is really in the middle of nowhere, though.

Ok, so picture this, I'm 18, just finished my freshman year living in the dorm (no pets) and I get my first apartment (wheee). So what do I do? Buy a starter pet, fish! Problem is I hate fish. They are slimy and boring and slimy. I bought the cheapest fish at the pet store and they would just not die.

oatmeal, peanut butter, half a banana, coffee !

Well, finally something that a red-blooded American male might eat, if breakfast meats are unavailable, si man!

1. My wife is the windbag - each time she lets it rip I say 'Hello Wuhan!' and she laughs and laughs and laughs. Many times I feel the vibration in the bed afore hearing the escaping gas sounds...

2. I've been trying to figure out why she keeps laughing about it - my current guess is that she's happy that she's in a place where she can do it privately yet with a witness.

Mrs. D and Mrs. T-B. need to meet and compare notes, gasmask man.

Cockfighting is legal in Ecu and is a very big thing. One of Mrs. T-B.'s amigos does quite well on his betting, because he knows the pedigrees of the competing roosters, cluck man.
