You can find the requirements for a K-1 visa here ---> http://www.uscis.gov/family/family-us-citizens/fiancee-visa/fiancee-visas

It may sound strange to the USCIS if he should apply so early after meeting you. You may wish to get to know him better before committing to changing your life for someone your hardly know.

Is it okay that my AMC boyfriend can file now a fiancé visa even we're just in a 5months on going relationship?we already seen personally last month.

I met my Fiancee online in Oct 2013. We met in person in Feb 2014 when she came to visit me. I proposed to her during that trip & later that same month, I filed I-129F. So I basically only knew her 4 months when I filed. I am the petitioner.

Yes, you've met within the last two years and you both have to send in a signed Letter of Intent to Marry.

That's all that required by USCIS, besides all the other documents.

There is no legal impediment to filing just because you only know each other 5 months. Just be prepared to explain to the consular officer at your interview why you are sure this is true love and a genuine relationship.

I meet him 2yrs ago when i was in states last 2012. But our communication suddenly disappear and we didnt save any proof of our communication.

All the same, you hardly know him, so it would behoove you to get to know him before you make a lifetime commitment. Have him come visit you and spend some time together. Come over yourself and see how he lives, who his friends are, etc.

I met my fiancée online at the end of July 2013, I went to Philippines in November to meet in person. Last month I proposed to her online in Skype, she accepted and sent me her signed G-325A form and her letter of intent to marry. I filed the petition shortly afterwards. We were already approved.

I have known my fiancée for about 8 months when I filed.

Technically, if your fiance is a US citizen, both of you are free to marry, and you have seen him personally at least once in the last 2 years before filing the I-129f petition, then you guys are fine. For filing, your fiance should submit (along with all the required docs and forms) sufficient proof of meeting, such as passport stamps and pictures. Evidences of a loving and genuine ongoing relationship such as emails, calls, text, video call snapshot can strengthen your case.

However, before embarking on this big decision, you have to make sure you know the guy very well. The technicalities of the petition are obviously easy to overcome, but decisions need not to be rushed. Not to sound like a big sister, but I do hope you know what's best for you.

My Fiancee is not currently with me. We're in the limbo land known as TSC. She won't be here till she gets her Visa.

Of course some things suggested here are simply impossible for a Filipina. You cannot just "come over" and visit him now can you? I met my now wife on-line on DIA in July 2012. I flew to Cebu to meet her September 2012. I proposed that week and we married 7 days later. I stayed there with her for 30 days then went home a filed a CR-1 visa. I visited her once more for 3 weeks then went back home to Hawaii and we waited for the paperwork to complete. I then returned and met her in Manila in July of 2013 to attend the interview with her. She was approved and we flew together to Hawaii and the rest is history. The difference here is that I decided I wanted to marry her within minutes of seeing her in person. Whetehter that made a difference to the consular officer I will never know but our relationship was only 6 weeks old when we married. So I think you are just fine with a 5 month relationship. You have met face to face already. Just submit all the proper paperwork and you should be fine.

Good luck but most importantly, God Bless

When you know, you know. I bought the my Fiancee's ring before I ever met her in person. & I proposed to her on the 7th day I saw her on our 1st & only (so far) meeting. I can't say it enough: when you know, you know.

Yup, you're right! I had the engagement ring in my suitcase when I arrived in the Philippines on my first trip/meeting, September 15, 2012. My PLAN was to meet her and if I thought she was the ONE I would propose to her on September 18, 2012 in a big way.

You can watch the video on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWRcOHZ1ykw&noredirect=1

The first night I met her I just knew. Three days later I proposed and the next day we went to the jewelry store and bought each other wedding rings, 4 days later (September 22, 2012) we had a beautiful wedding in Lapu Lapu, Philippines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCegz4CGRHw
