My online case status changed to card/document production for the i-485 and that i should receive my card in 30 days.

You can see in my signature that i only applied in march, and had my biometrics last month.

I replied to an RFE last week and was maybe expecting something to happen with my EAD application, but the online case status for that form still says initial review.

Im skeptical/confused. What card do you guys thinking is being produced? The green card?

If the update is for the I-485 then it's your green card. Congratulations.

13th May 2014: AOS (I-485) & EAD/AP combo card
21st May 2014: NOA 1 and biometric letter
11th June 2014: biometric appointment
13th June 2014: RFE received via mail
16th June 2014: replied to RFE
6th August 2014: EAD Approved, AP still in initial review
12th August 2014: got tracking number for EAD
( ) August 2014: Received EAD (I forgot what date I got them but I did receive them less than 5 days from the 12th)
10th September 2014: Interview Waiver received (I wished I was interviewed)
April 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice

I never heard anything about an interview. No letters, nothing. It went from ititial review, to RFE which i responded to last week on friday, then i checked the website today and it had changed to card/document production. I even called USCIS and their automated status thing said same as the website.

The lack of notifications and how quickly this happened makes me skeptical. But i really hope i do have my greencard coming to me

If it's correct (and I see no reason it wouldn't be) you should receive another couple of notifications in the next couple of days: one saying it was mailed and then another giving you the tracking number (this will only be available on the site, it won't appear in the email).

Wow! What can I say?! Just jealous ... Looks like it's legit. We have almost an identical timeline btw, so you know now that I hate you! :crying:

I was surprised when my AOS was processed in under 3 months. My AOS was transferred to California service center who seem to be able to crank out approvals rapidly. This is probably more common than you think. Even three years ago when my AOS was processed.

Its possible, I also got my GC in 3 months.. Count your lucky stars! :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Kind of surprised a green card has been issued if you've not attended a biometrics appointment, but I suppose it's possible.

Our EAD just changed to production last Friday. We submitted it in March and had an RFE as well, so about 2 1/2 months for us for that. No movement on the green card front for us though, but the work authorization is the important thing.

November 14th, 2013: She's here!

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

December 14th, 2013: Wedding

Yeah I had my biometrics on april 16th. my post about not receiving any letters may have confused things, but I did receive a letter with my biometrics appointment. the only other letter I got was the NOA1
