Wont be moving, travelling to and from. How will I account for it when filing tax with husband

would not be a problem. many people live in one state and work in another. your tax person would sort it or you could use any tax software on your computer and do it. quite simple.

Although I live in Mississippi, I am on a state line for Arkansas and Tennessee. I could be in either state in a matter of 5 minutes. During the process and receiving EAD I was told it was fine to work outside my state. A job is a job after all. My husband works in Tennessee.

Thanks for asking this. I am also on the same boat and currently, my job search for my professional background is bringing me to NYC. Not a bad commute from NJ. :)

Thanks QueenComley! I would like to think so too. I have the same uncertainty with that tax thing, same as OP. But instinct tells me that a lot of people does that here anyways. It doesn't help to ask those who have experience too though. :)

We live in Mississippi, but my hubby has worked in Tennessee for 18 years. He is taxed Mississippi state tax in his pay check, not Tennessee taxes (luckily... because Tennessee tax is ridiculously High).
