We are preparing I-130 and G-325a and we have some questions. Some facts: I`m beneficiary, my wife to be (USC) is still using her last name from the first marriage because of her son. (she is not using her maiden name).

1. is it better that she use the same last name through the process as is it in her passport on all forms? She is petitioner.

2. do we put in package just copy of the naturalization or we need to copy her US passport also?

3. I-130, B-section,question 7: we have to put here her maiden name,correct ?

4. I-130, C-section, question 1: I do not have middle name, leave it blank?

5. I-130, C-section, question 2: do we put here address which is in beneficiary`s passport or address where we are living together (not the same address)...my temporary address

6. I-130, question 21: for time frame, we write under "to:" - present?

7. I-130, question 22: somewhere we had read, that on the right side of question, we can put city and country, where the interview will be - beneficiary country (we are both living abroad)

8. G-325a, question "Applicant residence for last five years": just for five years or is it better from time of birth?

9. G-325a, question " Applicant last address outside US": we are still living at this address, so we put for "to:" - present?

THX :)

Edit - my 1st question: If she use my last name.....than she puts her last name from her first marriage (that last name is also in her US passport) and her maiden name under section "Other names used", correct?

1. Your USC wife can use any name she pleases. If she intends to change her name due to your marriage, she can just start using it now, and formalize things like ID changes, whenever she pleases.

2. Just the Naturalization copy for evidence of US Citizenship

3. I like to put Mary Jane MAIDEN, FIRSTMARRIED, CURRENTNAME

4. or enter ----

5. The question asks where you're living. You can update the address, if needed, when applying for the visa.

6. Sure

7. Of course. Put the city where you expect to interview.

8. Five years with actual start month and year for the oldest address you list.

9. Sure

You aren't asking but in question C 17., the petitioner is her own relative's spouse, so her name goes on the first line followed by YOUR children, if any.

Thx for C17 advise:)

So, for address (quest 2) I write down my current temporary address now ( I am Legal resident in another country where we are living) and later update it as is in my passport?

C19 is my beneficiary address abroad? which one, temporary or in one in the passport Confusing because my temporary address is A and my permanent address is B

The address in your passport is irrelevant. To answer your question, I would need to know just how "temporary" your current address is. If you'll be there throughout the visa process, that's the address you use. If you'll be there less than another three or four months, I would NOT use that address. However, if you will have "resided" in a country other than that shown on your passport, for more than 12 months, get a police report before you leave.

I am filling I-130 on my comupter and date sections allows only numbers. Can I write down "present" with a black ink pen or is it better that everything is with the black ink pen?

In the same place I used black ink to write PRESENT on the I-130 without any problems.

Good luck.
