administrative processing in Islamabad

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, and I was wondering if someone can assist me. My Husband had petitioned for his son and he had his interview in Islamabad on Feb 6,2014. The VO had informed him that he had passed his interview and that he would have his visa in 2 months. He was given a green 221g sheet and the VO had kept his passport. it has been 3 months now and still no word on the status of his visa. I had emailed the consulate twice, and to no avail, I just recieved a pre-drafted boilerplate response. Can anyone share thier experiences with the Islamabad Embassy and how long they took to clear admininstrative processing.

No one can tell you how long AP will last; the two month estimate they gave you was exactly that, an estimate. AP could be weeks, months, or (rarely) years.

No time frame for Admin processing in Islamabad embassy .my interview was in 2010 september and after interview they kept my passport and said you will get ur passport with visa in 3 or 6 months and till today i have sent 4 medicals to embassy and still under admin processs .its 3.7 years now

Got ds 3032 :23 March 2010

Interview : 09-09-2010 Result :Administrative Processing

In december 2010 priority dates retrogessed and wait priority date current again in

MARCH 2012 2nd

Medical submit :07 March 2012 Result :Administrative Processing

3rd Medical submit :28th Feb 2013 Result Administrative Processing

4th Medical submit :26th Feb 2014 Result :Got email reply from embassy that they will call me for finger prints and oath ..and still waiting Got call for finger prints and oath

on 12th MAY Went for finger prints and oath :21th May Result :ApprovedVisa Issued :22.05.2014

 

visa Issued Today after 3 years 8 months and 13 days

Green Card fee paid : 05/06/2014

Poe :17/06/2014

Ssn Received :27-06-2014

Green Card Produced and Mailed :07/22/2014

Got 10 YEAR Green Card :25/07/2014

I dont understand how that can be possible,3.7 years for ap!!! did you see a lawyer? I am sure that at the point an attorney should be able to assist you

There is nothing an attorney can do except take your money and make the same enquiries that you can make yourself for free.
