Spouse passport copies for NVC

Hello,

I am preparing for the NVC stage. I realize I will need copies of the bio data pages of my wife. I am having her send me scanned copies of the passport that I will print out here. I am doing this as opposed to having her send me a paper photo copy. Is this acceptable? Any advise on this?

Yes it is. As long as you have a copy of the biographic information of her passport.

5-3-14 Received DS-261/AOS bill

5-3-14 Paid AOS bill

5-3-14 Submitted DS-261

5-8-14 Mailed AOS Package

5-8-14 Received IV bill

5-8-14 Paid IV bill

5-9-14 UPS documents to NVC

5-10-14 Sent DS 260

6-12-14 Case complete

9-8-14 interview---- approved

For future reference a photocopy is the product of "scan and print" technology. Scan, email and print, produces exactly the same result. The only difference is instead of one device both scanning and printing, one device scans and a different device prints. Same/same.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
