We sent our petition on 28th april to texas service centre.

In approx 5 days we got mail saying our petition had been forwarded to CA from texas.

In may 7th may we got NOA1

Today we checked our case and they said our case has been approved and a mail has been sent, also now it will be forwarded to NVC , today is may 16th.

I am actually confused . Is this the NOA2??

Hi everyone! First post on here and I'm totally new. firstly I just want to say how amazing these forums have been in the process of completing our i129f application. I was finding it really hard to be positive before I realised there are loads of people in the same situation. I just love reading people's success stories. Anyway!

I129f sent - 05/05/14

Alien registration number changed - 05/13/14

Noa1 hard copy - 05/16/14

Being processed at TSC but I'm staying positive and hoping the time goes quick

Just checked our case status to verify that we had no RFEs and was pleasantly surprised to see that NOA2 was issued on 05/19 :dancing: :joy:

I didn't get emails/SMS when my alien registration # changed or when my I-129F was approved despite having submitted g-1145. If you are with CSC I suggest you check your case status occasionally. Best of luck to everyone!

Thanks for the good wishes. On Igor's list I've seen several CSC people who received NOA1 between the last week of April and early May get their NOA2 within 1-3 weeks of NOA2. I'm sure yours will be in the mail soon :).

I must say I feel badly for TSC filers and can't imagine why it's acceptable to USCIS that TSC and CSC have such huge discrepancies in processing time. Hopefully things will improve for TSC.
