Any Updates Guys ? MY I-485 was received by USCIS at April 10 & at July 15 we got a letter from USCIS that may be delay for other 6 months but they will not interview us .. any one has same case or received the Green Card recently ?

I have read about your type of case in the March Filers thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/484167-march-2014-aos-filers/page-68#entry7136740

If you don't have to deal with an interview, it can take longer to get the Greencard. But at least you know you'll get it. :)

6/2008 to Present: Fiance living in the U.S. on O-1 Visa
11/20/2013: Married in the U.S
3/4/2014: Filed I-130, 1-485, I-864 with brother and his wife as joint sponsors, G-325A, I-765, etc. via Fed-Ex
3/6/2014: Package delivered to Chicago, IL (express mail address)
3/11/2014 - 9:45pm: Received text messages that USCIS received all four petitions (I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131)and is processing them
3/17/2014 - Received 3 NOA1
3/20/2014: Received Biometrics appointment letter
4/7/2014 - 9AM: Biometrics appointment
3/26/14: Received text from USCIS that RFE has been sent. Yikes!
3/31/14: Received RFE letter requesting 2013 tax returns from joint sponsor
4/24/14: Mailed response to RFE
4/28/14: Received notifications that USCIS received the response to RFE
5/13/14: Received texts/emails that I-765 and I-131 have been approved and EAD will arrive soon
5/16/14: Received texts/emails that EAD was mailed with tracking number
5/19/14: Received EAD/AP Combo Card and texts/emails that Interview scheduling is occurring
5/29/14: Received text that AOS Interview has been scheduled for July 1st, 2014 and that letter has been mailed!

6/2/14: Received hardcopy letter for interview info: July 1st, 2014 @ 10:30am

If you don't have to deal with an interview, it can take longer to get the Greencard. But at least you know you'll get it. :)

Hi everyone, I just left the embassy, we got great news. We are approve! Yeyyy. We should be getting the visa in the mail in like two weeks. Its been a long long long day. We only have one problem, we forgot to fill the Ds-260, but they lets us go out and fill it then come back. That made our wait like 2 extra hours. It was our fault.

Otherwise, everything else when by pretty smooth.

We are very happy , and hope that all of you get you approvals soon.

We will keep you posted once we receive it.

04/02/2014 Package received by USCIS
04/10/2014 E-notification paperwork received
04/10/2014 Checks cashed
04/14/2014 Hard notice received in a mail
04/18/2014 Biometrics app letter received for 05/12/2014
04/24/2014 Walk-in biometrics done at Port Chester, NY office( no problems at all, very nice people)
04/29/2014 My status online changed to Request for evidence
05/03/2014 got RFE and now status is stuck on Request for evidence response review.
08/26/2014 Status changed to Testing and Interview
08/29/2014 Got an email update interview scheduled for October 1st and paper notice sent out
10/1/2014 HAd our interview at Hartford,CT office. wasnt approved on the spot. 10/3/2014 Got an update that status of I485 changed to Card Production. Then at night changed to Decision. I 130 Post decision activity
10/09/2014 Status changed to Card production We mailed you a new card. You'll receive within 30 days
10/09/2014 Got a tracking number. Estimated delivery 10/11/2014
10/11/2014 Green card in hand!
Whole process took 6 month( thanks to RFE) :)

Hello, VJers! I am so very happy to announce that my SIX MONTH Greencard saga with my husband is finally coming to a close. We turned in our last set of evidence last week to the VERY officer that interviewed us and issued us the RFE and -today- I finally got the texts/emails that the I-130 has been approved and that card production has begun and will be sent to us within 30 days! At long last, my hubby and I can finally breathe FREE! LOL - thank you all for your support and excellent advice. I don't know how I would've made it without you guys! Good luck to those of you who are still waiting! :)

Yes, ONE RFE is ENOUGH! LOL - take it from the person who kept getting RFEs and was delayed 4 months! :) Good luck to you!
