So my wife did her medical today at Apollo Hospital in Ahmadabad. The hospital scheduled a second round of MMR and TD vaccines on June 26, 2014, they gave her the first ones today. What I'm wondering is, will she still get approved for her Visa? Or will they say to come back and bring the reports that the vaccine has been taken a few days after the 26th of June? Basically, can she travel without those two vaccines done in India?

The nurse apparently told her that it's fine if she skipped it that it's not necessary. But I'm not sure how well the nurse might know the process.

Can she get the additional vaccinations before the interview? She will probably be able to go thru' the interview but the CO will most likely ask her to send in proof of the additional vaccinations before they approve her visa.

This is why I have been suggesting everyone to get the vaccinations done way early and walk into the medicals with paperwork to show vaccinations have been completed.

Looks like US Consulate Mumbai only scheduled up to June 19. They left out 7 working days at the end of June. Why? Does that mean they are going to schedule a few more towards end of June?

The Delhi Embassy schedule is full till the end of June.

I got a May 16th case complete too but dint get any slots for June.

Looking roughly at the June schedule for Mumbai,it shows a 9 30 interview timing too which was rare for month of May.

Im looking forward to thursday to get some news on this.(seems last wednesday of the month is a day off for the consulate)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

For some reason, I'm really not feeling the urge to call today at all!

Something inside me is really calm today! Stange, very strange! So not like me at all! What the heck happened to me???????????????

That is very much unlike you!! :rofl:

Only reason why I am so impatient is because I have a trip planned on June 5th to fly to the US! I need to know if they will assign me an early July date or not! If its after July 15th, I am good! But if its before, I am going to have to go into the process of changing it for a later with the embassy. So the sooner I know, the better!!

I really feel for people from other countries that have to give 2 and 3 month notice or pay a whooping fine. Isn't that like modern slavery. I mean when they fire or lay us off without warning why don't they have to pay a fine. Sorry I am blah blah blahing. I'm anxious and I am not even waiting for a date (YET) hehe hehe

I can totally relate to your state. The exact same thing happen to me when I send my checklist for AOS. I sort of made peace with myself and was really calm. I thinks because throughout the process we stress so much that after a while something in us tells us to keep calm. Its good to feel that way once in a while :)

I called and was on hold for about 30 mins.

No big news from them.They say that the schedule will only be put up by June first week.

On a side note,the June slots for India(Mumbai)have been filled as per the NVC representative(Olivia).

Really hope to get a date this week.
