On april 9,2014 our fiancé petition was approved!

However, there hasn't been any other updates so i'm wondering is our case just sitting at the California Service Centre? Or sent to NVC?

I've tried calling NVC but it's been nothing but busy so far.

Unless you like to wait and waste time once you get approval you have to be proactive,.

Call NVC first and keep calling until you get Case#. You should be reading about your own personal consulates (go to your country portal and click on Consulate Information) to see procedure on medicals, paperwork. You should be filling out forms preparing al that while you wait.

For some its taking 4 to 8 weeks just to get to NVC and get case# a bit better for K1's so call NVC Now.

Oh, I have been proactive in regards to everything we need etc for paperwork.. we're getting it all ready to go.

I was just wondering if it's just sitting around at USCIS or sent off as there hasn't been updates on the USCIS website for me, where as some have the update.

I have been proactively calling NVC, but it's always busy, even on off peak hours.

You are done with USCIS. Now some depending on their service center got an update that their petition was sent to NVC. (You know USCIS they aren't consistent about anything but consistently slow).

Keep doing what you doing. Thumbs up.

Early morning when they open at 7am or close to closing is best. I know some have had busy for a week or more. I feel for ya'll.
