Hi VJ Members.

Greetings!

Is anyone here had an idea for VRP (Visa Reissuance Program) and also I wanted to make an appointment at the US Embassy Manila.I try to make an appointment but it says that there is no available appointment . i wonder if there anyone who sucess in making an appointment.

I am very confused that everytime i check my visa status it say like this :

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions.

Please take the medical exam at St. Luke’s Extension Clinic in Manila at least one week before your interview. You are encouraged to register online at the St. Luke’s website:www.slec.ph prior to your medical exam. The medical exam may take more than one day to complete.

So, its means i had to go again the medical, and fee for visa stamp again... and the interview....

what do u think?

Thanks and any information much appreciated.

KInd Regards,

Geri

What kind of visa do you have and why are you trying to get it re-issued?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Thanks for all the reply. I am a IR1 visa and been expired last year around Oct.2013 .We failed to go to US since my youngest kid in the hospital by the time that we need to go to US. So , this year of Feb. we sent back my visa packet along with my Passport to the embassy .Luckily they update my status and now they want me to undo the medical, NBI , and also need to show up for the interview and pay the fees.

I am curious if anyone here have the same status i undergo now? I have no idea? if i need to do another interview ?

Any info much appreciated

Thanks alots

Yes you will have another interview- basically you need to do all of the "embassy" part of the visa process again.

Make sure you have documentation of why you could not use the visa for medical reasons, and concrete plans of moving now, and you should be fine.
