The CSC Processing time doesn't mean #######... Just ignore it. Much less stress if you stop checking it every day.

WhenI filed my I-129f petition in June 06 the processing date was March 5, 2006, when my I-129F was approved on July 31st 06 the processing date still said March 5,2006.

It was then that I realized that those timelines don't mean anything.

I used them in the beginning to at least feel like something was happening.. But after you approval...the rules change..things come faster..and you stop worrying about the timeline.. I haven't done a timeline search since my approval 12/5 because it doesn't matter anymore..

So use them for fun knowing that it's only a est ..time waster until your approval..

There isn't really enough data in timelines to give a meaningful estimate. When someone who's been waiting 5 gets an approval and enters their time, it really skews the data. When I first send my petition, the estimate date was Feb.2. Then a month later it had moved all the way up to Jan.2. I was very happy. Then during the next month it slowly went all the way to Feb.18. Then come Dec.28 I receive my NOA2. So relax, you'll probably receive your NOA2 in February some time, and it's a short month, so does it really matter when in February?

Hee hee - I watch that thing in my timeline sometimes too. But it is essentially arbitrary. Mine now says Feb 16th. Will I panic when Feb 16th comes and goes with no NOA2? No. Would I dance with joy if I got it on Feb 10th? Of course!

All I know is the days are ticking by, my fiance and I are both as in love as ever, and it will all come to a resolution one day. I'm ok with that.

Great, yes each nite we just say one more day closer than we were. Thats about all anyone can do. Mine went as low as Feb 9 for awhile.

Mine went out as far as Dec 27th at one point (back in early Sept) and I nearly had heart failure. Then it started slowly creeping back a few days at a time, until it said Nov 19th. Sure enough we were approved Oct 2!

Mine's fallen back to Feb 28th today, but the processing time for Texas dropped by two days from yesterday.

If I gave a ####### about that arbitrary date, this would really give me a headache!

Yeah, just use it as a rough guestimate. Our NOA2 estimated date, by the timelines here, was the middle of July. I think we actually got NOA2 at the end of July.

When waiting for my NOA2 and the VJ timetime would shorter and I would be so hapy thinking YAY I'm going to get my NOA2 soon! Then when the VJ timeline estimate would move further away, I would dismiss it as being totally inaccurate and not capable fo measuring anything. When it again shorten I go back to "Yay, my NOA2 is coming soon!" I think the whole process maeks you nuts!
