Helllo Friends ,

I need your comments on my situation or may be other people facing this situation :

My AOS was received on 20 March 2014 by NVC without 2013 Tax transcript and reviewed on 4 April .

I got check-list for I-864 & I-864A that it should be filled again due to original signature issue .

Now yesterday i sent back my both form to NVC .

My question is that it will deliver on Monday and will be review within next 10 to 20 days that means final decision will take after 14 April.

So during this decision they can send me check-list for 2013 Tax transcript ???? or they will ask it with interview ?

Remember they did not ask for it with check-list which received on 4 April

Looking your response

Interesting situation, and I hope very much you don't have to worry about new forms. I'll be interested to see what happens. Good luck!

I would just send in what they are requesting. Whether they request a copy of 2013 taxes for the interview I would bring a copy along anyways or if you file a tax extension bring a copy of that. It'll save you having to mail it in after the interview and prolonging the process and at worst they won't ask for it and you brought it along for no reason.

Even if it completes before or after april 14 you should take it on interview. our case was completed in march i was not asked to show recent taxes even though i had it but things delayed because of that. If there is a huge difference in income in past years and this year. i recommend give it to them in interview and let them know.(regardless of the proofs you sent to NVC)

Correct. You cannot just send the 2013 tax return to NVC anyway. You would need a whole new I-864 because 2013 would become the latest tax return. Just send a copy to be carried to the interview with, more importantly, a fresh new latest pay stub.

Hi, we didn't send the joint-sponsor's 2013 tax informations either, as they were not ready last week when we sent the package. The AOS package will be received after the tax deadline, however I don't think this will be an issue (fingers crossed). But there is no way to know for sure that they won't send a checklist (unless someone from last year did the same and could tell us what happened). Perhaps you could call NVC to see if they would send a checklist for this reason.

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

Neither of you will get a checklist for this. My answer is from experience. Take it to the bank. Also take those 2013 tax returns to the interview.
