I think it's too much. I've read somewhere that it shouldn't be more than 7 photos, and a few pages of each of those is enough. The most important is passport stamps and tickets etc.

They just need to be sure you have a relationship and that you've met in the last 2 years. They don't need to read or know all of your conversations and see all your photos.

If the evidence is too much, they just need more time to analyse all of them and it can only longer the process.

There is no official list of 7 photos and whatever you have read depends on the particular

circumstance and embassy. It may and it may not be enough....it is "embassy specific !"

Taking 30 more minutes to read through some chats is better than being denied for lack of bona fide at the interview.

Anyone can buy "tickets", boarding passes are more important, submitted with a well rounded package of balanced relationship

evidence from start to current. Never say this or that is too much until you have explained that it depends on the country/embassy

one goes through and until you understand what front loading is. I can't stress this point enough !

How much of it was read?

It matters not how much was read, it matters how much was submitted and if the CO was satisfied that he had the option to read

through all of it should there have been doubts in his mind as far as lack of communication is concerned.

OP.......submit it, who cares if they read it as long as they approve you and you have done the best you can.

Why take a chance and show up with 7 pages and be refused !

As far as the shoulder is concerned I hear they get pretty good benefits, though it would be more eye strain !

Bottom line = submit enough. What is enough ? Embassy specific, search your region. Read. Research. Embassy reviews.

Not sure where you read about the magic number of photos being 7. There is no amount of photos that is required or not. An I-129F petition can even be approved without any photos at all, though it is suggested to include at least a couple of you together as secondary evidence of meeting. The extra photos and relationship evidence are not for the I-129F petition, as has been discussed throughout this and many other threads. The relationship evidence is so it will be in your file for the CO to see when it is time for your K-1 visa interview. The interview is when proof of relationship is needed. It is important to include relationship evidence from the start with the I-129F for certain consulates that are tougher to get an approval from. They like to see plenty of evidence up front in your file and then have you bring even more to the interview. Different consulates have different processes and requirements.

It will not slow down the procesing of the I-129F petition because the adjudicator will most likely not read through any texts/chats because they are not needed to approve an I-129F petition. The adjudicators look for the required documentation in order to approve a petition. They do not decide if your relationship is valid. That is the job of a CO at the K-1 visa interview abroad. The USCIS approves or denies the petitions that grants a foreign fiance(e) the eligibility to apply for a visa. Dept. of State approves and issues visas. There are two different phases to obtaining a K-1 visa. DoS decides if your relationship is not just for immigration purposes, not the USCIS.

It did hurt my shoulder And the USCIS officer remarked on how prepared we were and how much she appreciated that, but then jokingly reprimanded my husband for not carrying the gigantor stack of papers (which he then did).

Funny story...she didn't ask for any of it in the interview. She only wanted joint financial documents, originals of birth certificates and marriage certificates, and pictures. For the OP, I would rather err on the side of being over-prepared.

You can bring more evidence to proof your conversations with your spouse....Print as many as you can ok..
