Working in medical marijuana industry with conditional green card?

Does anyone have any advice or experience relating to the medical marijuana industry? I am considering applying for a professional job within the industry in Oregon and am wondering if there could be potential conflicts with my green card status or a later application to remove conditions on my 2 year green card or applying for citizenship. If there are any doubts I'd rather not risk my residency status, but the job could have a lot of potential for me, Just to be ultra clear and avoid confusion I do not consume/use it myself in any form and have no intention to.

USCIS goes by federal law, so local law might be in conflict. I tend to think it would be okay, but since it is selling drugs you might want to run it by a lawyer.

The conflict in the laws is my concern. To be clear the position is not directly involved with the sale of the marijuana but of course that is how the business makes money.

Unless you can get a definitive reading from someone (a powerful attorney or someone influential at USCIS), I'd recommend against taking any risk until you're a U.S. citizen.
