That sounds like fraud to me.

Just because there was no mention of a new relationship in the original posting does not preclude the OP from finding a new relationship that I would hope to be a genuine one.

Please point to where exactly I indicated that OP go out and marry purely for the purpose of a green card.

AOS bashers such as yourself (Green card fraud! Misrepresentation!) should rant and complain to the US Congress. They are the branch of government tasked with immigration law. They have written AOS into the law as a legal method of obtaining permanent residency. Overcoming a presumption of fraud and proving a legitimate spousal relationship when undergoing AOS is the OP's business. Doubting Thomases should seek 'relief' from the proper agencies.

She has already overstayed. Makes me wonder if she entered legally since she was fleeing from her family. Finding another USC to marry after one failed marriage to a USC while being in the country for years illegally smells of a marriage for a green card. She will have a hard time.
