The 129F form only asks for evidence of meeting within the past two years. Is evidence of meeting prior to that helpful?

Also, should my fiancee bring evidence of ongoing communications with me between the time of submitting the application and the time of the interview?

Can I accompany my fiancee to the interview?

Correct

Is evidence of meeting prior to that helpful?

It's helpful to establish the proof of your relationship, which is needed for the intevriew.

Also, should my fiancee bring evidence of ongoing communications with me between the time of submitting the application and the time of the interview?

Unless your relationship has stopped, then of course.

Can I accompany my fiancee to the interview?

Embassy specific question.

Evidence of a relationship beyond 2 years is definitely helpful in your 129F. It shows an ongoing relationship which they like to see. The more documentation, the better. My fiancé and I had 7 years of documentation: phone bills, Skype logs, pictures, travel documentation such as itinerary, boarding passes, copy of visa stamp for each trip, hotel or lodging information. That's for the petition. Then, keep the same documentation forward from the date of the petition. The embassy will have a copy of the petition. Bring to the interview the same documentation covering any time period for which you had not submitted this documentation, that is, your recent information. They will grill you about your engagement so bring pictures to the interview. Know everything about your fiancé, where born, when, if you've met your fiancé's family, religion. The consular officer complimented my fiancé about our documentation, and we got the visa right away. Whether you can bring anyone to your interview is up to the embassy.

1. No need for it.

2. Yes any evidence of the ongoing relationship is good. The embassy in BKK likes to see photos of you together for some reason. They seem to put more stock in that than anything.

3. No you can't. This used to be possible but I heard that around 2007 some guys girl got denied and the guy ended up assaulting the CO. I've heard that story multiple times from multiple people, so I tend to believe it.

Well, I've just filed my I-129F recently. What I've included were copies of our flight tickets dated back to about 4 years ago...Really not too many, about 2 visits per year...Just so that there'd be a little something to look at. There were also photos (not too many) from different visit -- one for each time. I think that was about it. Oh, an copies of passport stamps :D

Sorry to sidetrack, how could the CO be assaulted, since the CO is safely separated/protected from the interviewees by glass window like this below?

Apparently that wasn't the case back in 2007. When I went there in 2009 with my wife to submit more docs for a 221g, it looked exactly like your photo. In fact while I was living in Thailand 2004-2007 the USC services part of the embassy looked just like your photo. I did peek around the corner once during that time to see what was going on where Thais were applying for visas, and looked kind of like a bus station. All disorganized and people milling about.

Question, have you seen each other in person in the past 2 years of when you will be filing the 129-f? Just want to make sure because that is a rule for the 129-f.

My packet 3 clearly states my petitioner is welcome at the embassy on the date of my interview. (Bogota Embassy)

Every embassy is different. In Thailand they are not allowed. One petitioner from Thailand that I know was able to get in but that was after the interview had already happened and they were bringing back more evidence that the embassy was requesting.

I find the story hard to believe. In the embassy's I've been to the CO's only meet with you behind security glass.

OP made a post. It automatically shows up in the Thailand portal.

Go with your girl to the interview. If you can't come inside they sometimes send your girl back out with an invitation for you to come in and answer questions if they have more. It happened to me in Vietnam for a B2.

I forgot to mention that you need to bring your US passport to enter a embassy under any circumstance.

Yes, we've spent several months together in the past two years.
