All,

My spouse had her interview and was approved. Questions were the usual ones posted here in other forums.

One other thing that I wasn't aware of was that they handed back some pics and docs that I had sent for I 130. I thought that they only gave back the docs that was sent at the NVC stage.

Hi I am new to the thread and I do not know if I am doing it correctly oops8rh.gif . I am actually employment based but filling through consular processing, so I guess I can put my info on the thread. I am very happy to be here and to meet all of you. I know that or journeys have been long and exhausting.

Honestly I have no clue about employment Visas at all. This thread are family based and interviews started last two days of February.

do we need to take the xrays to the US embassy or is it only require at the airport/customs?

Xrays take just on case but really for the CBP. And sometimes they don't take them. Have no idea what they really are for or for whom. Just take just in case.

Hello,

My interview is coming up this week and I just want to go by an expert VJer to make sure that I am not missing anything. I have attached the documents list.

So from all that I'm gathering we need to bring the following:

Medical

Passport

Photocopy of the birth certificate

Interview letter

Two passport type photos

Photocopy of marriage certificate

I submitted the original birth certificate of my spouse, but they still sent the status code of F.

Same case for PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE which I sent original to them.

Any thing else that I need to bring ? Also, I am confused about the PCC. The local police station made the PCC valid for only three months. I have the issue date of Oct 25th, 2013. According to local Police station laws, the PCC has been expired. But the interview letter says the following

"A new police certificate from your current country of residence, if you obtained the police certificate more than one year ago."
Does that mean that they will accept the PCC; as it's not been more than a year old.

your pcc is expired,even if its been an year i suggest you get one made

What country will you be interviewing at I will add you.

They started scheduling last thursday. I don't know your embassy so can't advise.
