I received the case complete email yesterday (March 10), exactly 1 week after my case complete. I also called NVC about the interview but no good news at this time. At least the guy that I spoke too was very nice and said he hope he have better news for me next time and although he can't say exactly when they will have new schedules,he told me I'm next in line to get an interview date.

Hi. I received P4 (appointment letter) 5 days after my case was completed. try to send them an email or keep calling. My interview will be on April 4. smile.png

May 23 - applied for SSN. June 2 - received my SSN Jun 9 - got a job. July 21 - received my green card (wrong expiration date and combined first and middle name, filed for I-90-correction) Aug 08 - applied for a state ID Sep 05 - biometrics appointment  Oct 09 - received my state ID Nov 03 - post decision activity (I-90 application) Nov 07 - card/document production (need to wait for 30 days for my new green card) Nov 10 - received the new green card (2 months & 5 days)

Hi Guys

can u please tell me with your experience when my interview will b scheduled at new delhi India. My case got completed on March 10th 2014 from nvc through phone.f2a category PD june 12th 2013. I have not received email till 2day tuesday but case got compeleted yesterday as i called nvc and they told me u will b receiving an email soon.

So i will really appreciate if you can tell me when i get interview date. Is it true that if my case get shipped 2 New delhi before march 15th then it might b that i can get interview in april or it doesnt work in that way.Thanks in advance god bless u all

Well India has complete April interviews. The next scheduling will take place at end of this month, usually about the 27th or 28th of month for May.

Your case complete letter show come the 17th. the always mail a week letter. All there is to do now is wait.

See the list see all the New Delhi and Mumbai embassy interviews there were alot.

No..just a normal process. Things went smoothly on my case. Just keep calling them.

Thanks. I hope so but based on timelines with Manila embassy just like you, received your p4 last week of feb. I think that's what dwheels is talking bout regarding the embassy schedule interviews on the last week of the month. I think it just coincidence that you got your case completed late of feb also so the gap from your case complete to p4 is very short. Unlike me I received the case complete March 3, so if they only schedule on the last week of this month then that means I actually have to wait 3 wks before the p4. But part of me still hoping for a miracle and hopefully I'll receive the p4 sometime this week. Edited by enzo0601

Expect an email from NVC 1 week after your case complete. So because your case complete is March 6, I think you might get the email on march 13(Thursday). It's not about your interview yet but it's just to tell you they received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing of your case. Then it will tell you you'll be notified once an interview is available.

My wife received a call from Mumbai consulate regarding interview, and they told her to bring:

- Interview Letter

- DS260 Confirmation

- Passport

- Marriage and Birth Certificate

- Passport size pics

- NVC letter

Does anyone know what is the NVC letter? I received the Interview letter couple days after it was assigned but never received a case complete email from NVC, are they asking her to bring case complete email??

I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.

To the original question, what is the difference then between the interview letter and the NVC letter? Seems like from the list they seem like 2 different documents.

NVC letter is the P4 interview letter. They could care less about case complete letter.

Okay P4 is a VJ term thats what we call it. Its the interview letter with the attachment of your checklist. It's the same thing. If you look on your consular information page here on VJ it speaks of the P4 letter. It's the letter you take to embassy so you can get in its not different its all inclusive its the same thing. P4 us VJ, Interview letter them.

If in doubt call NVC for clarification.

Hi Thanks Dwheels But u know i just got an email from NVC regarding case completion.They have written that we will tell u when we set an interview date for your case.Please do not contact US Embassy or consulate in NEW DELHI INDIA.about your interview until we give the date.

SO what do you reckon. I might make it by the end of April or it will be May for sure. I really appreciate for your help. Thanks again
