Hello, I just got married in Singapore I am about to file my I-130 while I am here. The max I can stay in Singapore is two months due to school/work. My question is there be a way to expedite this process?

Filing and obtaining a CR1 petition/visa is a 10 to 12 month process. There is no expedite for normal process.

Give up one of those options, than you won't have a reason. This is called choices. Immigration doesn't work this way. Everyone who is engaged or married to a foreign in individual has this same issue.

From what I see there are no reasons for USCIS to expedite your petition.

Read it and if you think you qualify try your chances but don't get your hopes up since they rarely approve them.

If an expedite was possible in your case, then no body would choose 6-12 months of separation versus spending two months vacationing abroad and be eligible for an expedite.

I wonder why it's such a common misconception that you can get an expedite for being pregnant, losing your job and for financial reasons etc. If that was the case everyone would be doing it! Sorry OP, looks like you'll have to wait like everyone else.

Guys it was just a question, I knew going back home with my wife wouldn't be instantaneous especially with the backlog they have. Thanks for the suggestion Boiler but shortly after I posted this my rental property I had on the market which seemed like forever was sold! Lucky man what document did you get to married in Singapure. Did you get a certification that says you are single? Did you get it in the US?

Got married by by ROM solemnizer at Aloha Costa Sands, they are appointed by depending on what area your spouse lives in. Didn't need because I had my divorce decree from a previous marriage.
