Confusion...Need Clarification NOA2

As I was re-reading my NOA2, I noticed that it states "the above petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed consulate." Does this mean it is not going to NVC? I have read on different forums that its states on the NOA2 to contact NVC in 30 days to request case number, but on my mine it doesn't state that. How will I be notified that the consulate received my petition? Should I wait until fiancé receives packet 3 from the Embassy? A little confused....Thanks in advance

Your petition passes through NVC so quick that the letter doesn't really need to mention it. A I-129F spends like a day there, just to get a case number.

I got an email that it was approved on 2/14 and than hard copy of NOA2 on 2/23. Should I call to get a case number? I am with CSC. Thanks for the response

The NOA2 has wording not correctly because it will go to NVC first before forwarding to Embassy.

It will take 1-2 weeks to arrive to NVC and then it will send to Embassy 2-3 days later.

Not all K1's zip through. People are still set aside for AP on K1's at NVC. Times are way less than they used to be, but it still happens.
