Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions.

What is this means? What should i do next? Help me please!!!!

Welcome to the forum! From your timeline, it's been a month since NVC received your files, so your case is most likely received already by (if not on its way to the) US Embassy in Manila. You can now proceed to paying your visa application fee, having the medical and completing the rest of the requirements as stated here: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/325288/packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_updated%2004%20Feb%202014_.pdf

As girl from celebes mentioned, here's a link for other tips in completing the requirements, especially written for applicants from Philippines: http://visaconnection-philippines.com/#

K1s won't receive an appointment letter from the embassy. What the US Embassy in Manila (USEM) will mail out is only an instruction letter, which basically states the instructions/ requirements on my first link above. This letter won't be asked/ not necessary when an attending the interview and not all applicants receive it. K1 visa applicants set their own appointment date after paying the visa fee. Refer to Hank's site (2nd link above) for more info. :)

The Affidavit of support, Form I-134 must have an original signature from your petitioner (mailed not printed copy). The form 1040 is the ITR in US. Normally, only the most recent 1040 and W2 (2013) are asked by the consul, especially if there's no concern with the petitioner's income meeting 125% of the poverty guideline.

For 2013, the deadline of the 1040 filing in US is April 15. So if your interview is before that, you can use the 2012 ITR. :)

No, you don't have to submit the 2011 / 2012 income tax returns and the 2011 / 2012 W-2's.

You can submit the 2013 income tax return and the 2013 W-2.

Good luck with your interview!

You do need the MNL hard copy, to schedule an interview, for sure, not just the number.,.,and of course the medical is first come first serve. Do not forget your CFO.,.,.(what a joke, to drain more money) so you can buy an airline ticket.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You don't need the hard copy from the NVC to schedule an interview appointment. You can schedule an interview online by simply using your MNL case number.

Also, if you schedule your interview by phone, the call center won't ask you whether you have an NVC hard copy. However, the call center may ask you whether you received your letter from the Embassy. If you tell the call center that you already received a letter from the Embassy, they will allow you to make an interview appointment.
