I have an idea, to the people who have already contacted the media, Send them an email again and let count how many people have sent, If we could get around 50 people? Maybe they will pay attention again. If us dec/jan/feb and march come together we could do something ^_^ are we in? Or pointless? :)

I'm in! More the better! We need to help fix this delay.

There is another sub-option :) CNN has this thing called iReport - where you can submit your own story. So if there is a will to do a combined story from a few of us from different parts of the wold - i dont think CNN will be able to ignore it. We could connect the story to the immigration reform that the government is reporting on. http://ireport.cnn.com/

This could also work as a pitch for the CNN journalists to dig dipper into the story. Just a thought.

you can make servic request, just put your filing day to december. I put mine 12/03/14 and it went through.

and you think if I put a december date that will not affect the file ? I mean that is a lie... Idk.

Any opinios ? :)

I'd be conflicted too. But as long as your meeting wasn't after the December file date, I'd say go for it. If I worked there, I'd understand people doing that. I dunno. But if I worked there, I'd give everyone at tsc an approval! Good luck.

I put in a service request with a December date on it even though my NOA1 is 1/30/14 and it still got refused for being outside processing times. I sent the service request in on 1/7/14 exactly 5 months and 1 day when the processing time on the USCIS website was showing only 5 months.

The only thing I feel I benefited from was knowing that I am in the processing system somewhere and not lost in a draw. The only thing I though was a bit unusual is that some others on here are getting a reply saying wait 60 days where mine didn't have any reference to a waiting period.

I have my Congressman on the case too as well as an immigration attorney. The immigration attorney is a bit illusive with help to push the petition through and I think she is very limited as to what she can find out just as we are and the Congressman had a reply from the USCIS stating wait 30 days and that deadline is in 4 days.

I will be contacting the Congressman next week to see what they can do if approval hasn't been given.

Best regards

Rich

Congrats!!! May I know which congressman you contacted?

Ah @cmtlegacy so sorry I missed this before. I contacted Bill Pascrell, he's the local congressman of my area. I also had tried both Senator Booker & Menendez but got no reply so I would definitely recommend contacting your local congress.

I'm April...you didn't mention April filers but I'm more than willing to help as it affects me too. (I should've been March but stuff got lost in the mail which delayed my application by a month) it hurts me to see you all waiting so long cuz the three months I've been waiting are killing me.

I am the petitioner.

Seems like they accept stories with Photos and videos only.

You guys all really need to figure out who is head of TSC and each write a letter and submit at the same time. When that person gets 50-100 letters on their desk all from individual people, they will probably wake up and realize..

The thing is that the TSC has more petitions incoming than the CSC does. I am not sure what they can do about it other than send some to CSC.

11/18/2013 - Filed I-129F
11/25/2013 - NOA1 text/email received
05/01/2014 - NOA2 text/Email received
06/18/2014 - Interview - Approved
07/31/2014 - Point of Entry
10/17/2014 - Married
10/23/2014 - Filed AOS/EAD/AP
11/07/2014 - 3x NOA1 text/emails received

12/05/2014 - Biometrics

12/22/2014 - EAD/AP Approved

01/02/2015 - EAD/AP Card Received

I've seen on another post that that is not the case. They actually have almost the same amount of petitions incoming, but TSC is just slower.

I would gladly do that if that would help, but I'm sure the head of TSC already knows what's going on, and I'm sure lots of people are calling TSC to complain all the time :/ I feel like we need to get in touch with somebody higher than them in terms of status.

Only if we all do it ... I really think that's our best bet, as we can send our message directly to him

Have you sent one yet? If so, what did you write? I'm terrible at talking to important people

Not yet, I just finished sending an email to CNN. I'll email tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov next, and then tweet to director of USCIS. It can be a 100 character tweet, something like "processing time between CSC and TSC is outrages and it's affecting our lives @OCRLeon #USCIS #immigration"
