Hello,

I posted last week about my EAD and AP almost at the 90 days, and hadn't been received. Today is exactly 90 days and I have not received either...

I'm very frustrated, I put in a service request for both of these today and he said now I have to allow 30 days to receive a response?! Are you kidding me???

This is really becoming ridiculous. I'm from Canada, have done everything correctly and I DO NOT understand why everyone else seemed to have theirs within 70 days, and here I am getting completely screwed.

I NEED my advance parole because I have my 2 final university exams to write in Canada (which is less than 30 minutes from where I live in the USA). So basically, I am going to fail university due to the slow and incompetency of the USCIS.

I am not even really sure what else to do anymore. I've made my infopass appointment for Thursday, to see what they say - but I feel they'll repeat what was said on the phone..

Can anyone give me some kind of advice or something about my EAD, and my AP...Please?

Thanks

Maybe you will have good luck at the Infopass appointment....

Have you tried contacting the DHS Ombudsmen? https://www.dhs.gov/ombudsman-case-assistance

Very good advice to contact Ombudsman. Our lawyer did and got our case moving along within a week. It really sucks but in every application category they are backed up. They assure me that people actually work at the USCIS Office but I'm not convinced of that yet. Good luck and hope everything works out....really soon.

ombudsman right now is useless. contact your congressman and ask them to send an expedite request for the EAD/AP card because you need to go to do the exam. and I am pretty sure that it will get approved right away. The congressman will reach your case faster.USCIS responds wihtin 48 hrs to a congressman query
