She is presumably also eligible to file for naturalization, to become a US citizen. Is there a particular reason why she doesn't want to do that? It offers a number of advantages.

Spouse-based AOS from out-of-status H-1B, May - Aug 2012

Removal of conditions, Aug - Nov 2014

With problems during that I-751 stage, we applied for US citizenship for my wife at the earliest possible time. Could be by doing this expedited her ten year card, she received it just in time to give it back. But then we were done with the USCIS.

No she does not qualify for Naturalization\Citizenship at this current time. In order to qualify she cannot make trips longer than 6 months out of the country.

Just keep a track of all the trips and dates. Once she has been here for 4 years and 9 months and has not made any trips that exceed 6 months she should be good.

There is a calculator also on when you can early file.
