Is it a false checklist for IV Packet?

Hii All

M so worried.

We got an email today for checklist cover letter. We have already submitted coversheet and all original as well as photocopy of all documnents on 15 Jan. It says that checklist for cover letter. My husband called NVC and operator said not to worry about it. Now, what to do? Do we need to send it again? We have sent affidavit of support on 4 Feb and they are asking for it in this checklist which needs to be ignored as we have sent it just before 4 days. Please help me guys.....

hi... I'm not an immigrant visa process guru bt I would try to help u frm my own experience..

well during my process at the nvc, we received like 2 false checklists requesting for documents we just sent to nvc few days ago and dat brought a lot of confusion to me.. bt we called nd were told dat we shldnt worry nd I read somewhere that those checklists are generated automatically immediately u reply to a previous checklist.. however, if the checkist requests for something new which d old checklist didnt pls do reply.. but in ur case since u say u've replied nvc wit d documents they asked for den u have nufin to fear..

And I would suggest u tru this: just incase u receive another checklist just call nvc and politely ask dem to case complete u and thay the beneficiary would bring everu missing or incomplete document to the interview.. I hope this helped u even a bit..

This is our 1st checklist n its false...i think so because NVC representative told my husband not to worry about this when he called today. I've sent email inquiry too about it to NVC.

If the checklist is asking for the AOS package, it's likely a false checklist based on them reviewing (and accepting) either the DS-260 or IV-package. Since you didn't post the checklist, it's hard to tell which one. Call NVC up on Monday and inquire!

Whatever you do, do NOT send another copy of the AOS package! They have it, they just haven't gotten to it yet.

If the checklist tell you what is wrong in the AOS than it's a true checklist but if it tell you to send out then it's wrong since you have sent it

Yup, it's a false checklist based on them reviewing (and very likely, accepting) your DS-260. Just call up Monday to confirm
