Post with image edited to remove image, at OP's request:

It's actually green...who knew ;)

This is easily the most expensive piece of plastic I have ever owned.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I thought you would appreciate this..

http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cty=Dallas%20TX&page=3&dfilter=5&topic=

Those are reviews from the Dallas office. Abd of course you can view their timeline and get an idea of when to expect a date... Any other person at other offices can check it out too by inputing their offices. Dallas is kinda sparodic but it does give a reasonable timeline. Enjoy

Awesome! thank you!

I didn't have time to call them yesterday, but I'll do it this morning (and get back to you :P )

Congrats!! :D What kind of questions did the officer ask?

First we had to swear an oath to tell the truth & then he started with some repeat questions from the I-485. We brought our 2 yr old son with us which I think helped a lot. He asked how we met, the dates we saw each other - he stopped this line of questioning when he realised my husband had already lives for 18 months with me in Australia. He then asked if this was our first marriage (yes on both counts). I actually asked him outright if he wanted to review any of our original files and he said our son was proof enough our relationship was genuine and that he wouldn't prolong the interview! After that he asked for any photos from the wedding that he could attach to the file, realised he'd lost the copy of my husbands birth certificate so I gave him a new copy. After that he gave me a slip reminding me about ROC & said he'd update the system with my new status the same day and to expect my GC within 2 weeks :)

Patiently, I shall wait............ :reading:

I just called and all she could tell me is that I'm in line to be scheduled and it depends on how many people are ahead and how many appointments they have available.

So nothing new... Sigh.

She said I could make an info pass appt with the field office to get a ballpark timeframe but I'm thinking that won't change anything..

okay. well, get the newspapers out and continue the waiting game.... Truth is the earliest you may get a date is 2 weeks from now or first week of June... for an interview by the end of June or early July.

I am looking towards the first to the 2nd week of June to get a date in July :reading:

It's only been 3 months since filing... Dallas averages 5 months...March, April, May June, JULY... shoot for this.

Couple of weeks isn't that bad all in all! I guess you went by different timelines to determine that? I'm awful at estimating when I'll get what haha

July would be GREAT. My belongings and car are still in Canada (lawyer said to wait until I have my PR before getting anything)... I want my car!

Yep, a lot of rocket science came into that... I had to find the integral of the sum of the circumferential difference using the Buck Van Daal formula. and then multiplied it by the inverse of the coefficient of Wandervaal, a number that is limitless and indivisible by infinity. That gave me 5... phew... lots of work!!

Haha, my cousin told me that... and just Yes, by different timelines... I also want July, not June... Spouse will be off for Military assignment the whole of June

SO I had my interview yesterday, it was schedule for 315, since i like to be on time for everything, i got there 45 min early, came 330 the room was empty everyone was called, so some guy ask us if we had an appt and what time, so i think they forgot about us. 5 minutes later this woman come out and call our name, she didnt make any eye contact, so i got worried. First we had to swear an oath to tell the truth, then she asked my husband my name and DOB and asked my parents name.. after that she went over my application and went over my first came coming here, she asked to see my I94, but i told her i didnt have but my passport was stamped with both of my entry, she said thank you and think that was enough. So after she asked since we sent application if we had anything else to ADD than we showed Registration of boat we bought, Car insurance, and other things we brought and then she said that i had sent few pics if i had more, so i gave to her ( i made few collages of few events ) she didnt look at them all.. She asked if she could make copies, i told her she could keep them all, that i had the collage for them, I showed her my wedding album she didnt finish looking at that either, then she said that we made a good couple, and that she was going to make copies of our IDs and when she came back she said i should receive my green card within 4 weeks and explained the process of ROC and becoming citizen, i told her i wanted to change my name to his last name, so she crossed off my last name and told me that my green card would have his last time. The paper that seh gave us said pending review, and i have not received any email changing status yet! Granted we left the building after 430.. so i am hoping i am getting something soon, cuz i am getting worried.

hope my experience helped!

We had our interview today, and we got approved!

Everyone was so friendly at the Boston office, we were scheduled for 2pm, got there at 1:45, checked in with the receptionist, who told us to wait for the IO to call my name, the room was about 70% full, so we were expecting a long wait.

About 10-15mins later, an IO comes thru the door and called my name, he said he hadnt even got time to read my AOS, and asked my wife to go in with him to review our app and that i had to wait outside...i was freaking out since i heard that the couple goes in together and if you get interviewed separately could mean they are suspicious of something.

Roughly 10mins later, he comes back out and signals me to go in, and so i did.

I got sworn in, and got asked pretty much the same questions from the AOS app, the IO was very friendly and was kind of joking thru the questions which put both, my wife and I at ease. Next he asked for my passports, i94 and EAD, and told me he would keep it because i wouldnt need it anymore because he was granting me my green card!.
