We were approved on 15 NOV 2013 till now still no case number yet !!!!

We made requested and got letter from USCIS that our petition will forwarded to NVC,please allow 60 days before inquiring NVC

It's means we have to wait for 2 more months???

God........ CSC very dam slow

I really hate how they process thing and very unclear !!!!

They say it can take up to 60 days, but it shouldn't and usually doesn't. I've been looking at timelines and 10 days is closer to the norm. I'm not even going to try to call the NVC until friday.

Although, after what you and I have both been through already, nothing would surprise me.

Took about two weeks for ours to be received by NVC. We don't have a case number yet.

Have you checked with USCIS if they have actually sent your package to NVC? What does USCIS say about your case?

Recently received our NOA2.

Just out of interest how do you know if and when the NVC has received your case from USCIS? Do you receive an email?

I know once they have sent it on to the correct embassy then the petitioner receives a letter.

No email for me.. My fiancé and I called when the VJ timeline is about close to our noa2 approval date. I know VJ timeline isn't so reliable but at least that works for me.. Got my case number as expected via VJ timeline

I am surprised you not get an ISO and suss out the casefile movement, instead.

Call and demand an ISO and don't let them off the phone until you have a satisfactory answer.

We got our case number from NVC after six weeks of getting the approved I-129F.

I (the petitioner) received it through an email from NVC.

You should call USCIS now to follow up with your case.

I read stories here wherein their files never reached NVC, or USCIS sent it to the wrong department.

It honestly depends on who you deal with on the phone, my advice would be keep trying a couple of times a day.

I got my case number within 2 weeks only after getting I-129F Approval...My service center is California too...You should always call the USCIS if they forwarded your case to NVC.
