I checked the time-line for the buffalo/Syracuse field offices and the last case processed was August 18. I guess those of us going through these field offices have a long wait.

Those estimates are usually very conservative and released on a significant time-lag. I believe the case processing reference you mention dates back to January 31st. That was almost sixty days ago. Adding sixty days to August 18 gets you to October 17 and then you still have to remember that the date is quoted conservatively. Good luck to everyone waiting!

I don't know if this counts as early walk in but my appointment was friday at 10 and I was in and out before then. My husband and I have food poisoning and I think the nice people there were afraid I was going to die/hurl in front of them. But no way in hell I was going to miss this. Phew...

3 hour round trip to Denver for a 15 Minute appt. lol

Just hoping for no RFE and being in line for the interview soon.

How do you guys all know when you are "in line for interview"? Do you all get email updates?

I don't get those. And when I go to the status check on uscis.com there is no such indicator. Just says initial review, then testing and interview, then oath ceremony. But no circle for being in line.

You sign up for alerts on the USCIS page you make an account like a username and pw and people get the alerts as emails and as text messages.

How do you guys all know when you are "in line for interview"? Do you all get email updates?

I don't get those. And when I go to the status check on uscis.com there is no such indicator. Just says initial review, then testing and interview, then oath ceremony. But no circle for being in line.



How many people have all 100 questions down?

My husband has 20 down... hope that's not bad...

Well, you are applying in the Nebraska centre, so I suppose certain exceptions which would not normally apply to those applying in Dallas/Lewisville and Phoenix would apply to you.

Definitely wasn't trying to give you something more to stress over. The timeline just stood out to me and I thought it was interesting.

Well, you are applying in the Nebraska centre, so I suppose certain exceptions which would not normally apply to those applying in Dallas/Lewisville and Phoenix would apply to you.

Definitely wasn't trying to give you something more to stress over. The timeline just stood out to me and I thought it was interesting.
