But I know since I've been here, the hate I gotten for being a muslim, I've never seen a christian or any other religion denomination get the same attention. I've been called every anti-muslim name in one thread because I pointed out the similarities between the bible and the Quran.

Not to challenge your expertise but as I understand the terminology.

Automatic = self loading.

Or at least this used to be the term as many such firearms were once designated as such.

As I looked into it, it would seem the "classification" Semi-auto has eclipsed that and now that distinction is more common.

So you are correct... though perhaps historically, any self loading gun was refered to as "automatic" (see browing auto 5 etc).

IDK, I think all religions are equally silly, but that's my opinion. I thought that the whole story of the bible is the Quran or vise versa?

I've seen threads get shutdown about some nutjob cleric saying it's ok to beat your wife or something along those lines. For some reason those threads get labelled anti-muslim, when the guy that made those proclamations seems quite proud of them.

Pretty much, the mainstream religions are all closely knit together. That's why I found it strange that this person asked about the views on homosexuality in the Quran, I posted said views, then posted the Bible verse on the same thing, which ended up almost being word for word. Then I was called an acid throwing wife beater.

The point is all religion if allowed unchecked would be bad. If the WBC ran America, I wouldn't want to live here no more than I would in Saudi Arabia.

You can make this claim until you're blue in the face - it won't change the fact that it only underlines that you are blindly ignorant about the UK and that you're only interested in trolling for the purpose of trying to bait posters from the UK.

Once again, you are wrong. This article has zero to do with guns or gun rights - neither in the UK or the USA. What it says is that there is a culture of silence among certain, typically immigrant communities in the UK. This is well-known in a few boroughs in East London and up north in cities like Leeds and Leicester.

If you want to talk about UK gun crime - you probably want to look for some articles on gang violence in Tottenham, Brixton or Salford.

Here's an example - Banaz Mahmod murdered by her Father and Uncle for trying to divorce her husband from an arranged marriage.

We can take a reasonable guess at what the prescence of a gun would have done in this situation - Banaz would have been shot to death, rather than garotted with a shoelace.

This crime and crimes like it are not crimes that lend themselves to the debate on gun crime because (gasp!) they do not involve guns.
