A little spin off of the SO smell poll I posted... what is your favourite scent? It being a perfume or some natural smell...

I really enjoy Ness ( I am not sure who makes it, but I know it's made in Paris...possibly Gier or Naila Ness?), also Fracas by Robert Piquet and Chanel's Gardenia for women

And for men, Armani's Acqua di Gio and Issey Miyake...but I am not so familiar with male colognes.

I enjoy sandalwood, gardenia and jasmine scents for me.

Now you...

He smells delicious when he's wearing Issey Miyake... the men's one, obviously. I love that stuff.

And my favourite right now is probably Kenzo Flower. Although I have a lot of other almost-favourites, too.

And in general... the smell of vanilla, every time. Mmmmm.

I used to wear Eau de Issey by Issey Miyake all the time. Now I change all the time

I wear Issey, Polo Sport, Tommy Girl, Noa by Cacharel, Ralph Lauren Romance, Escape by Escada, classic Burberry, Provocative Woman by Elizabeth Arden, Victoria's Secret Heavenly, and Lush's Karma, So You by Armani, D & G Light Blue, Mambo by Liz Claiborne and.....erm, that's all I got on my perfume tray right now.

If anyone can help me....when I was in the UK...one night I bumped into this woman who smelled INCREDIBLE. I asked her what she was wearing and she said Purple Escape by Calvin Klein...but I've never seen it :( I just googled and I'm guessin it was Purple Orchid Eternity,so I guess I'll go smell it...prolly won't remember cos I was pizzed, lol. But has anyone heard of Purple Escape?

David wears the Issey Miyake for Men....omG how awesome! I have a teddy bear that he gave me that he bathed in it years ago, lol...it still smells now (L) I also love Joop for him. Oh! he also wears classic Burberry

Coffee or freshly baked bread.

A forest smelling of pine.

Freshly opened lilies.

Coconut.

Cinnamon.

Freshly cut grass.

Hate the smell of aftershave on men. So many of them just don't get it right; I'd rather they didn't bother.

Ooh yeah - how could I forget lilies... quite possibly my favourite smell in the world, ever! And cinnamon, too... yum.

I also hate the smell of aftershave on men. Reminds me of a creepy old uncle of mine... ugh! I like men to smell clean though.

I wear Orange Blossom by Jo Malone or my new fave is Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker - very light and fresh.

And our Christmas tree smells lovely too

Since I quit smoking just over 3 years ago I've been extremely sensitive to smells both natural and manmade.

I guess the sensitivity to manmade scents will never go away. They (perfumes and colognes) just smell like chemicals to me and it's so disgusting. I really don't understand why people feel the need to make themselves smell like something that isn't natural or what a human should smell like.

And though I'm big on things that are natural, I'm even sensitive to much of that stuff, though I'm hoping that will fade the farther I get from having quit smoking.

It's definitely a challenge at times since most of the world seems to think that slathering themselves with scent will be appreciated by one and all, when all it does is make my sinuses completely clog up, give me headaches and even makes me nauseated at times.

As for scents that I like, whether or not I can tolerate them... I think they're mostly food related. :D

Vanilla, cinnamon, pizza, pastry, bbq...

In fact, I've sworn for years, if they could actually come up with a cologne that *really* smelled like bbq, I'd buy it for every man I knew.

:P

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5
