savyandmanny,

There's no approval of anything at NVC - just a pass-through.

savyandmanny,

1 or 2 weeks for an I-129f petition.

3 or 4 months is for an I-130 petition where the NVC collects information for the immigrant visa application in advance, on behalf of the consulate.

Congratulations - hope it doesn't take too long to get through the NVC and to the Consulate - should only take a few weeks at most though, with any luck.

Oh... and don't forget to update your timeline! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
