Your YTD salary is just your annual salary. How much money do you make in one year? They are looking for your CURRENT salary. If you make $50K a year, then your employer should state that. Simple.

It is odd but they are asking me both for my salary and also my YTD salary. The two things don't appear to be the same. Hence the confusion.

YTD is a specific amount that you'll find on your pay stubs. If that's what they want make sure to include it. Like I said. I would do jan 1st until today. And add 2013 total YTD also just in case.

Have the employer list what your salary is, or that you are full time and what you make an hour. Seems pay stubs would show your YTD for last year and this year so far. If they really want the employer to state YTD, then have them list what you made in the entire last year, not what you made only this year, since this year is less than 2 weeks old. Show the letter from employer along with your pay stubs to show YTD. Especially your last pay stub from Dec 2013. That should list an entire annual salary on it, assuming you worked all of last year. Include your also your most recent from Jan 2014 as well.
