They dont like my honesty.
You asked us to speak our minds, here is what I believe:

1.People who go from the US to meet women (usually) are losers because it means they cannot meet someone here;

2.People who meet through dating services and websites are losers because they cannot meet a person in real life and have to hide behind their money and dating services to get a partner. If they did not have money and no one ever wanted to come to America they would always be lonely and unattached. Granted most of those people they meet especially the fillipino women just want to come to America because why would anyone want some of the people I have seen going to Phillipines to get wives/husbands?

3.Women always come up with some funky emotional words like 'soulmate', 'dream..' when we alll know that as soon as the relationship runs into problem they will always say how much of a loser the ex was. We should never listen to some of these crappy names coming from women calling their partners because they only exist when the relationship is enjoying a high.

4.It should be against the law to go and get a date/wife/fiancee from another country, unless one proves that they totally could not get someone in the USA. A tax should be applied for getting a spouse from another country on your tax return to be called the 'homeland security tax'.

5.Getting a spouse/fiance from another country should reflect on your background and criminal checks, because this is betraying your country by not supporting the women/men already here who are without a partner, however fat and ugly they may be, yet such may not afford to go to Phillipines or somewhere else to get someone there, who may not mind their ugliness, provided they are from the US and have money.

I know that I may slammed for feeding the "troll" as so many have called you but, Matako, you crack me up. Dang!

Well, sometimes it IS hardcore but, meh, I am known as the non-white female version of Archie Bunker to my college buddies, Not something I'm proud of, but whatever.

Through friends, family, coworkers, a pub (or restaurant), the grocery store, work, the gym, the neighborhood, library, waiting for the bus, parent teacher meetings or boy/girl scouts meetings (if you have children...lots of single parents, unfortunately), post office, the mall...dang, this list is endless. I come across "new" men daily!

Highlighted above where I met my wife. Although it wasn't just a "random hook-up", she was a friend of a friend who was visiting from out of town, so I got introduced to her, rather than drunkenly sidling up to her and asking "if she comes here often". Not that I haven't done that before.

why dont you try to have a relationship with Filipina so that you know the answers of some of the people you have seen going to the Philippines to get wives. :D

If you are thinking that all Filipina are only after for the money of foreign guys, you are absolutely wrong. Can you check how many Fil-AM couple who been married for almost 20 years and happily married? There are lots of them. If you happen to have a relationship to a traditional filipina, with good values and tradition, you will get the answer.

I know I will not be the only one who will say this, for sure, there are other men living and having a relationship with filipina who will answer you too.

I hope I didnt sound so mean here..

Peace!

No, never met anyone else in person that I met first online that I was interested in-because I wasn't interested in anyone online until I met Sujeet. I really didn't want to meet the person I was going to marry on the internet, so I was not looking there at all. I didn't even want a long distance relationship ever in my life, even if I had met the person off the internet. It's funny how things happen that you never planned and never thought you would do. lol. I ended up being in one of the farthest LDR's possible!!

Me and my sister met a couple people in person that we both had known on the internet, but they were friends from the beginning, nothing else at all.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

When I started the quest for my dream..(Yes even as a small child 3-4th grade) I had this idea of marrying a Foriegn Woman...

When I started to look.. I was attracted to Filipina..I talked to several over a 6 month period of time...Even talked to a Lativa girls which turned out to be a scammer.. But anyway.. I was narrowing my choice down to one Filipina I would go meet.. and then Veronica came into the picture.. and it all seemed perfect..but I did have my scammer wall up since the Lativa woman.. So it took months for us both to trust enough to show/speak about our feelings.... But Veronica seemed so special in her nature.. that I kept coming back to her..until I finally cut off all over communications with others..

But Veronica is the only one I went and met....

I just felt for two people to meet.. there must be more then just lust.. there had to be feelings.. and that is why it took me a year to go to her.... that did two things.. Proved she loved me and would wait.. and took away most of the lust.. because once you talk about enough about sex.. it gets old(to a vocal point) and you need to actually talk..about real things..and learn about that person..

My hubby is the only man I ever met up with face-to-face from any online relationships.

Before that I had more than my share of men I met in the customary manner.

I wanna know what the customary manner for meeting men is! ;)

Hahahahaahah....you know what I mean. Not online!!!! LOL

Am I the only person who finds it odd that it needs to be asked if you met previous girlfriends in person before? Do people that meet online now outnumber those who met in real life? ;)

No you are not the only one!!! It's an odd question - even though I realize many people meet on line, it makes me feel like the OP was on a online-find-a-husband mission . . sorry if that's offensive, but not as offensive as Matako.

First to my_destiny, J would be the one and only person I met online that I have ever met in person and now have a fiancé relationship with. I am very happy and feel very lucky to be in this relationship with my beautiful, inside and out, Filipina. :D

Now to matako...

Change belief number 1. It should read:

1. People from the US (or anywhere) who pretend to meet women inside or outside the US (always) are losers, especially when they can't remember from post to post which fake country their fake fiancé is from.

Wait, perhaps I shouldn't kick you when you are down, and your fake engagement has suffered a fake breaking off? If so, you have my fake condolences!

Hello ready4ONE! thanks for the comments.

I know there are lots of american like you who will say the same things who are now happily engaged, married or in a relationship with Filipina but I didnt say that only Filipina but in all countries where there are sweet and caring girls too. In Philippines, family are very close family ties and want to make the married life meaningful as possible. I guess those losers are those people who dont believe in Love and dont know how to show love and respect to people.
