Any news from USCIS ? Anybody ?

64 days i am still in Initial Review for my EAD/AP cases

I'm the same as you...not a peep from USCIS :(

However, a lot of people here did get approved/received interview dates...so I'm hopeful it will be soon for us!

  • We received an update today that our card will arrive by March 13. I'm so excited but finding a job has been hard since hubby has no references here in the USA. I am trying to figure out a way around online applications without US references.

Hi Everyone,

I Just received approval for my AP which is odd because I didn't file with my AOS in fact it was an after thought which I filed two weeks ago just for the heck of it. Has anyone ever seen the AP approved before anything else?

Hi Ammasean,

that is great news!

In fact I also filled AOS and AP/EAD separately, but I only sent out the AP/EAD one day after the AOS.

With the result that I had 2 Biometric Appointments.

I think that normally your AP and EAD are approved prior the AOS,

although we see some cases right now where people have there Interview even before their AP/EAD got approved.

My AP/EAD is still in "initial review" and my AOS in "Request for Evidence Response Review".

Good luck to everyone!

Happy for those who made already so much progress!

Hi all

Long time since I have been on the site. Am still patiently waiting no changes to my online status since my address changed. They didn't even update the system for the biometrics I did on the18th feb. Hope everything is fine. I have read here that Atlanta field office has a backlog of 7-8 months for interviews so I guess I will be in for the long haul. It's been 23 days since biometrics no change.

Sounds like things are moving for some people here though. Glad to hear good news. Congrats CJC on your news and alphaMale glad you have heard from them too.

Skyview, my husband is in IT.

Also, we were given a tracking number by immigration for USPS when they mailed the card. For some reason, it's been stuck in Knoxville since 3/11. The lady at the post office said immigration documents usually sit there for 2-3 weeks before being mailed to the final destination. I don't understand this at all and I've never heard of this.

Ours was sent on 3/11 from Corbin, KY, then sat in Knoxville for a couple of days. Last night it arrived in NY. Still slower than regular priority mail, even USPS shows expected delivery was yesterday. Maybe they'll deliver it today or tomorrow.

Just spoke with USCIS customer service office about EAD/AP.

They said that till the 75 th day from the NOA date decision must be made.

For me this is next sunday , which is kind of good news as i become extremely nervous not having a job.

So 90 days timeframe now is 75.
