my wife and i got married back in early november.shes from the philippines and im an american living in Arizona.she constantly moves around a lot and stays at 1 place maybe 3 or 4 months at the most.shes about to move any day now.i havent started her visa yet and want to start it now.but im worried with her constantly moving it will cause problems.shes in the manila area.shes in paranaque now but i think her and her mom will move to makati which is where we actually got married at.my dad contacted a relative(my dad is also married to a filipina)that lives in pampanga i believe and asked if we could use her address as a permanent address for any paper work and everything being mailed to my wife.but im not sure if that will work as its far from where my wife actually lives..my dad suggested a P.O. box but im not sure they have there..

my question is, would her moving and changing addresses a lot cause any problems?

and are we able to use another address thats a little further away as a permanent address?

i dont know how long exactly it will take but any idea on the time frame for a spousal visa?i tried looking at the info on here but the graphs make no sense to me.ill be filling in california.im 27 years old.shes 19.dont know if that makes much of a difference but want to give info that could hep out..if anymore info is needed please ask.

Hi. Starting off have you ever wondered why she is moving around alot? Moving around might cause problems because she cannot establish a permanent residence. One of the things she will need is permission from parents to be married. You could use a relative address for that, but to me thats a red flag moving around alot. I would be asking the whys.

she moves around a lot because her parents dont get along.he last house they were in was because i visited and the old neighborhood they didnt trust with me there.no red flag as i know exactly whats going on.my step mom and a friend my dad works with.his wife has meet my wife before we ever met and got married.they know and trust her.especially over my ex.i know the reason.i asked the questions i needed to ask which are above..we are already married.she has our marriage license.we were in a relationship for over 2 years before getting married.i have been involved with filipinos for nearly a decade.my best friends are filipinos.my family is also.ill upload pictures of our wedding.

her moving has no consequence on the petition. If the petitioner moves, you need to inform the USCIS, if the beneficiary moves, they should make a note of the dates and exact address because they'll need that information for the DS-260 (and the G-325a) Nothing in the petition will have anythign to do with your wife and nothing during the whole process (unless you really want it to take a long time) will be mailed to her besides maybe the eventual visa.

Personally, I advised to have and use one address all through out the process so there would be no problems later on. My husband and I were planing to move location during the process but decided not to for it may delay the process although we never get any mail from the NVC. All of the notifications we sent to us via email. My husband filed the CR-1 Visa Dec of 2012. I have my Visa on hand November 2013. I hope this helps...

Were you living together abroad?

Yes, he stays with us few months after he filed the petition in the US. He goes back and fort during the process though. He was with me during the Consular interview and so as our kids. It was a long wait, but it's worth it. dancin5hr.gif

oh good.thats a relief, i told her i wish her and her family get permanent residence but her parents dont get along too well and were at their current location only for me.even when i was there they argued.but its a relief i dont have to worry too much although i may use my other relatives address to be safe. :)

I live in Pampanga. Yeah, it's not far away from Manila. Did you sign up for Email notifications. Other people are getting documents from the mail too or both. In my case, everything went smoothly. Notifications being sent to us via email, both petitioner and beneficiary. They sent us Checklist on what we need to provide and send to them. We read and read and read... check the forms that we filled up, we always make sure we are not missing anything.... This website and US Embassy website are the best source of information... and call NVC for updates when you think it's taking longer that it is suppose to... Good Luck to both of you!

For the beneficiary it honestly does not matter. For the petitioner it does.

But you do what you feel is best.

then i can rest at ease not worrying if she moves or not.its just me only that needs permanent.i may just apply for hers anyways without having an address for her.well ill supply an address i know though where she is currently at :)
