Child missing from I-129F petiton

Hello,

My fiancee and I are at the stage of this process where she received the packet 3 from the US Consulate in Singapore. We noticed that the youngest child is missing off the coverletter of who is traveling to the US. When we enquired as to why they left the youngest child off, they replied that the child WAS NOT ON the I-129K petition. She has 4 children but there were only 3 spaces for the I-129 Petition. Is this going to be a problem and should we be concerned that we have to start over? The child is 8 years old.

If there is not enough space on paperwork, you add a sheet of paper, reference the question number and provide the answer/information.

Don't know what you need to do now to add another child to the petition.

VJ sites mentions to make 2 copies of every document you submit.

Do you not have a copy to verify whether it was your omission or USCIS error?

If It's USCIS error, you should be able yo get them to correct it.

If it's your error....hmmm....I don't know.

You should call USCIS and plea for advice on what is the quickest way to

get the 4th child added.

Not doing anything I think will cause a major issue as no visa or

POE documents.

We attached a separate piece of paper with the childs information and it did not make it into the system. I contacted a Lawyer and he said that I should be able to handle at the US Consulate level since the USCIS petition was for my fiancee and her K1 benefits. The children ride on her K1 and receive the K2 benefits as a result. Per the lawyer, it should not cause a delay if we can get the Embassy all the information for the child. I will keep this thread posted in-case anyone else runs into this issue.

Update: I called USCIS and was escalated to an Immigration Officer. After explaining the situation, they are sending a case to the TSC to have them contact me and amend the documentation. They said that either they will find the missing paper and put in the childs information or ask me to fax information to them in the next 5 days. Fingers crossed it turns out to be that easy.

Update#2: US Consulate told us to remedy problem is just a matter of filling out a DS-160 and paying the fee for the child missing from petition.
