My wife and I are about to file...........sighs............does the paperwork ever end? I've been looking around this evening, on visajourney and on the uscis website, could someone tell us what the fee is on this one?

Brian and Cathy's webpage.

Sept. 17th, 03, Cathy and I first met in MSN's AsianAmerican chatroom.

Oct. 22nd, 04, I traveled to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to meet Cathy for the first time. Before returning home, I proposed, she accepted! :)

Feb. 28th, 05, I-129F is in the mail to TSC, Case signed for at TSC

Mar. 9th, TSC forwards the case to CSC.

Mar. 17th, Touched!

Mar. 18th, Received the I-797C Notice of Action.

Apr. 20th, On line approval! :)

Apr. 21st, Recieved N.O.A. #2.

Apr. 25th, NVC recieves case.

May 5th,Cathy receives packet 3

May 25th,Cathy's medical, 10am :)

June 7th,Cathy receives a letter from the embassy, appointment date is set for June 17th, 9am.

June 16th, 11pm, U.S. time, Cathy calls, she was APPROVEDDDDDD!!!!!!

June 23rd, Cathy's passport and visa are hand delivered.

July 21st, 7:30am, I pick Cathy up at the New Orleans airport.

Sept. 4th, MARRIED!

Oct. 17th, Filed the I-765 and for Cathy's AOS.

Oct. 27th, N.O.A. in the mailbox for the E.A.D. and the A.O.S.

Nov. 29th, R.F.E. for Cathy's I-765.

Feb. 22nd 2007 A child is born!!! Her name is Kendra. :)

Jun. 20th FINALLY, A.O.S. interview, Metarie, LA.

My wife and I are about to file..............sigh..............more paperwork, does this ever end? I've been looking around a lil bit on visa journey and on the uscis website, could someone tell us how much money we have to have for this filing?

680 dollars for the process. 10 bucks to send the packet. 10 bucks for passport pictures. Few more bucks to make copies of your documents. That's all. Good luck.

Daddeee, where do you live? Noticed from your timeline, you picked your wife up in New Orleans. We live in Mississippi (gulf coast), and will be filing my wife's N-400 next month. I haven't noticed any reviews about USCIS Metairie (Louisiana). Hope eveything goes smoothly The check should be for $680 dollars ($595 filing fee and $85 for the biometrics). We will be using USPS to send the package.

NATURALIZATION

02/25/2014 - Eligibility date.

03/03/2014 - N-400 package mailed.

03/11/2014 - Check cashed.

03/14/2014 - NOA received.

04/09/2014 - Biometrics.

04/28/2014 - In-Line for Interview - 6 hours later Interview Scheduled!!

05/02/2014 - Interview Letter received. (Mailed on 29 April)

05/26/2014 - 3 year anniversary.

06/02/2014 - Interview. PASSED!

09/11/2014 - Oath Ceremony.

09/16/2014 - Updated driver licence and registered to vote.

10/08/2014 - Updated Social Security

10/14/2014 - Applied for U.S. Passport

10/27/2014 - U.S. Passport arrived in mail (13 days - DID NOT expedite)

10/30/2014 - Naturalization Certificate arrived in mail (was not folded)

Got 2 NOA's in the last few days.

NOA1 January 8, 2014. Application received and in process.

NOA2 January 15, 2014. Biometrics date 01/29/2014. I will most likely go in early because I live 10 min from the ASC.

So much for my theory that my Biometrics from last summer was still valid!

I do not know, should i send the package via fedex or USPS, i know it is the same, both will deliever, just afraid of USPS to do awful job.

u guys used fedex or USPS?

I used USPS and made sure it was priority 2-day, with a tracking #. I've done that for all my applications with USCIS, no problems so far! But I know that FedEx brings peace of mind to some people....up to you!

It takes roughly around 5 months for the N-400 process whether you do before 90 days or after. So calculate roughly 5 months from the day you file.

when u write ur name on the pic or the application, lets say, my name is will koi adam, in the green card its will k adam.

should i put my middle name as k, or the full name. eventhough in the green card its just as "K"
