I have one... But that was last August 13, 2013.. I should get new one right? Our nbi office here in Cebu was temporarily closed I dont know maybe because of outsourcing I'm not sure. So we need to file back at the old nbi office and I was given an appointment to be back there on march 3 and that is taking too long.. And I am afraid that will slowdown our petition process.

hello, I send my nbi to my husband the one that I got last sept 2013.. But I did get a very recent nbi just in case..

So for support thing-- did I read correctly that I only need to include the most recent year? (this being 2012, bc we haven't filed our 2013 yet). I am including mine and my fathers as he needs to sponsor, as I am a full time student (though I have worked a partime job, but its nowhere near enough).

Rinoa is right, it is stated on the nbi clearance that it is valid for 1 year. You can send the one you have right now to nvc, that should still be good. But i suggest u get a new one and bring it to your interview just to be sure.

So on the AOS receipt, there's this part that reads:

"When the IV fee payment status is PAID, each applicant must submit an Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration. If your case was initiated after October 4, 2010 and your case number begins with AMM, ATH, BGH, LMA, MEP, or MTL you must submit your visa application form online. Otherwise you must submit the paper version of the form."

My case number starts with MNL, and before i got this email i knew for sure that i should do ds260. However after reading it, i got a bit confused. Just wanna clarify and be 200% sure on what form i need to submit. Ds260 or ds230? Thanks!

I'm planning to get my NBI clearance next week in Cebu but when i read your post about NBI office is close because of some reason and then your told to come back on March 3,it makes me feel bad actually coz it seems like i can't get my NBI next week and i don't have any recent NBI clearance.Is it really close? I'm getting worried here

They've replaced DS-230 to DS-260 you should submit the form DS-260.

Well,it seems like everyone is submitting DS-260.My cousin did submit DS-260 and also she got the same message like yours.

Hi there,

I am doing the cover letter for the submission of the civil documents (IV package) and Im using the template on VJ.

But I dont get the following documents stated on the template:

· Original/Certified Passport Office Police Certificate for Beneficiary and a copy

· Original/Certified Police Clearance Certificate and a copy

What is the first one?? I read Saylin's post 1&2 and i didnt see anything related to that.
