Hi everyone, and happy holidays!

We need to file for the removal of conditions on my permanent residency in about 4 months (2 year gc expires in 7 months) and I am starting a new job. I know that when you start a new job you need to fill out a I-9 form and submit supporting documentation, verifying employment authorization. In the case of permanent residents (including conditional) the green card is the document that shows authorization to work. However, mine will expire in 7 months, after which (in case US immigration don't reach a decision before that happens) all I will have are the receipt for submitting the ROC request. I know that legally that extents my status for another year, but I am not sure that the letter itself can serve as a document verifying employment authorization. What can I do to prove to my employer I am still authorized to work while I await the decision (and hopefully the 10 year gc)?

Thanks!
