Here's a picture of the cookies I did for the party. I made somewhere between 450 and 500 to my best estimate. This was after I had them all bagged, but before I had the ribbon on the tops to close them. That picture is still on the camera.

Wow Melly, you make me want to start baking too! But I think I should at least put the tree up first

Now you better get those cookies off to work before JP shows up and they are all gone! Well Let's save her a few - she is our in house Princess after all. (F)

Saw something to get me excited in another thread. someone going through AOS out of Houston was transfered to CSC. From what I've read on the boards, it seems to mean a quicker approval without the interview- I know the interview would be required at a later date- liftin conditions I suppose, and I know there is no quareentee we will get transfered, but I think it is a good thing :)

I guess we first need to get through the Casa interview first right?

Good morning! So I just wanted everyone to know that yesterday I spent most of my day off talking to the customer service res from Verizon DSL. I have been trying to get someone to my house for the past two weeks and I was told yesterday someone would be there by 2:30pm. Nobody showed up. While I was at work someone called to tell me that they would be coming shortly. I ran home from work to meet the person only to find out that they had been there at 4:30 and couldn't send anyone else out to fix our internet. So needless to say I am going to be canceling with Verizon because of very poor customer service. I was told about 30 different things and not one single person told me the right thing until I talked to a supervisor and found that nobody could come back out and that I would have to take another day off just to get my internet hooked up! So... no more Verizon.

Anyway, I am going to be working at this branch again next week. I am excited. It should be fun. Not much going on this weekend. Working tomorrow and maybe a few hours on Sunday. Going to have dinner at my dads with a few friends and Adil. Should be a nice evening. I hope everyone has a great day and a good weekend.

Sorry for the confusion Doodle. I was jumping ahead and planing out the Adjustment of Status process once he gets here...which he's not here because we haven;t even gone through the interview in Casa! Just like me to be all over the place and assuming people know what is in my head

On second thought I'll blame you for the confusion because right now your head is so filled with thoughts of bad airplane problems, learning arabic and planning a wedding! :P(F)

Some middle of nowwhere in the Sahara. In southern Morocco about 10 miles from the Algerian border (That is Alergia in the distance). A few hours drive (really off road driving) southwest from Erfoud/Rissani. If that helps :)

now i'm thirsty. lol

You know...I'm not too girly in terms of being sentimental. Usama texted me the other day, "I miss you like the desert misses the rain". I wrote back, "How the heck can desert miss rain if it's never seen it?"

The sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara are definately one of the must see places in the country. Here's a link to the the Erg Chebbi sand dunes- the highest in Morocco. These are just outside of ERfoud. If you click the interactive map, you can see where Erfoud is and my photo was taken a few hours drive off road southwest from that spot.
