Happy Friday everyone! Wow I am embarrassed I am up so early! I wake up every morning at 5 for work, so today with vacation starting I of course still wake at five! I hope everyone enjoys their Friday and the upcoming weekend. Only two more days until I leave for Morocco and bring Mohamed back with me! I am so very excited! I am wishing everyone good luck with getting their visas!

I hope you have a wonderful flight and a great day on vacation!

I don't know if you guys have heard about this Free lanuage program BYKI (Before You Know It). I found it through French's about.com site. I started using it yesterday to learn my numbers in arabic (and I am using the French program to review French throughout my break). Here is the link... http://www.byki.com/FLS/

Hope everyone has a good day!

Well, last night I finally finished all the baking of cookies and getting them ready for the office party today. Party is from noon til four so I guess if I need to get any work done it better be in the morning.

I'll be picking my son up from his dad's house on the way to work so he can have some fun at the office today. Some people there chipped in to buy him a video game so I'm sure he'll be pretty happy about that.

Not sure if I'll attend my sisters study group tonight as we have to get ready to leave early in the morning Saturday to go to my parents house for the weekend.

We'll spend a white Christmas there with my parents and then come home on Monday so my son can spend Christmas with his dad, and also because I have to work on Tuesday. pfffft!! :P

Amera, I'm eagerly waiting to hear the news that you've had your baby! You must be quite ready by now. :D

Browneyez, thanks for that link, I'm looking forward to checking it out later on.

And Janellealana, have a safe journey and enjoy!!! :)

Here's a picture of the cookies I did for the party. I made somewhere between 450 and 500 to my best estimate. This was after I had them all bagged, but before I had the ribbon on the tops to close them. That picture is still on the camera.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

Wow, that's so impressive. I always admire people who can do things like that!

I'd think so too, but it's just me!!! :D

Last year nearly killed me. I made about 750 cookies and I was so worn out from baking I don't think I baked anything at all for over 6 months.
