I'm doing the k1 I-134 but I missed the income requirements by $3,000 and some change. Can I get a cosponsor and join our incomes???? I'm really running out of time! Any help would be appreciated!

Do you have any savings? properties? stocks/bonds? if not, yes, get a co-sponsor.

hi

only if it is a direct family member that lives in the same household, such as parents or siblings

if not no, joint sponsors cannot combine with your income. do you have assets?

There is no combining of incomes with a K-1 and the I-134. You need to find a co-sponsor that meets the requirement for their own household size plus the beneficiary. They will provide their own separate I-134 and supporting financial documentation.

Yes, you both need to fill out your own I-134 and provide most recent tax transcript( or 1040 and W-2, whatever your consulate asks for), letter from employer and/or most recent pay stubs. Most want to see the 125%, but some follow the I-134 instructions and go with the 100%. You should contact your consulate and ask them directly if you and a co-sponsor are required to show 100 or 125% of the poverty level with an I-134 for a K-1 visa.
