Thank you so much! Unfortunately work requires a month notice and I would prefer to have the visa in hand before giving notice. Better to be safe than sorry lol. The wait is long but in the end the wait is worth the rewarddancin5hr.gif We are working on flights near the end of January. Maybe around the 24th.

Wishing you the best! Aloha and Merry Christmas

congrats!!!!!! our interview is this friday!!!! hoping to get the same news. what kind of questions did they ask u????!

Thank you so much! Most of the questions they asked were very basic.

How you met

How you communicate

Your actual meeting and time together

Questions about my (Petitioner) family. history, previous marriage, kids, their names, etc

Details about interaction with each others' family. How was the quality of the interaction....do each approve

The one question that threw her off was when he asked about my college education. She could not remember the university I graduated from. Seemed like an odd question but probably just trying to gage the depth of our knowledge of each other.

Study the reviews of the embassy you will interview at. There is a review section here on VJ.

We had a "study" weekend where I was asking her questions about us. I created my own but also used previous reviews here on VJ from our embassy as guidance

Just relax and be yourself. Be confident and friendly but not arrogant. Just like a job interview they want to read you along with your answers to the questions.

Good luck to you. Hope to see your success here on Friday dancin5hr.gif
