Hey, thanks for replying J&A, and Laura, time flies doesn't it?

Its AP I want the most, am hoping to take my kids back to the UK for Spring break in March. I could try a walk-in (its a 30 min drive so not bad) but I have to take my kids out of school and risk rejection and then have to take them out again for the time we have the actual appointments for and I don't know if its worth it or if it will really speed anything up.

Aside from that we're doing well! Hope y'all wink.png are too!

Time sure does fly. It's nearly 3 months since my husband and I got married, I keep thinking how is it 3 months already?! Almost a year since we filed for the K1 too!

I'm hoping for my AP soon too, I'd really like to get back to the UK for my dad's birthday at the beginning of next month. I got my biometrics done as soon as I could in the hope I'd get lucky and get the AP early, but that doesn't look likely now.

Have you checked the thread where people have come back and said if their early biometrics were successful? If your ASC usually allows it, it might be worth it for you to go early.

I'm in the same situation. It's 4 weeks tomorrow since I did my biometrics and nothing has changed. AOS is still in Acceptance and AP/EAD in Initial Review.

Right - I had biometrics done in Boston on 16th jan and no update from the initial changes to my uscis case status back in December (acceptance for i485, initial review for i131 and i765). Slightly nervous as have flights booked back to the UK for 1st march to show our newborn to my family there. Anyone have any ideas as what to do if we don't hear back in the next couple of weeks - doesn't really qualify as an emergency (my mother would probably think otherwise however )
