Has anyone had their I-485 status change to Initial Review yet? Mine still says Acceptance from Dec 19.

Just wondering if there's a time frame I should be expecting? (If it's even going to change, I read that a lot don't.)

Hi Laura! Mine has changed to testing and interview. It changed on 12/31/13, 12 days after I had my walk-in biometrics taken.

As far as I can remember, it never went to initial review for mine.

Ah, so based on the two replies it does seem kinda random. It's only 4 days since my biometrics so I'll just keep checking and hope that it changes sometime this week.

I am one of the many here who just started their AOS, I sent in my application on December 27th but until now there is no notice of action on our application. Perhaps it was because of the holidays? What is the normal time frame for the NOA1?

It was exactly a week until I got the texts/emails for mine. And then around another week until I got the hard copies.

I'm sure you'll get yours soon!

Hi I'm new member! I'm just wondering I received text message of noa1 for the 3 applications I filed ( aos, ap and employment last dec 22 and I only got noa1 hard copy only for AP, until now no noa for aos and ead. I'm kinda getting worried is this normal that they're not sending all at once? Till now no letter of appointment for biometrics as well...

Hi got my Biometrix appointment today... my schedule is jan 29, 2014.. i want to enroll next week in a certified nursing assistant class... the school require me to have a fingerprinting in the federal that charged 60$....my question is since we already paid our biometrix in the uscis, can i use the uscis biometrix to send my criminal background to the school..im confused i dont want to waste money for another federal finger printing..

my guess is probably no....I am currently on H1B doing AOS via marraige. I am currently working for a state entity as a contract employee they made me go through the same federal checks before joining. You might want to check with your school/hospital if they allow you.

Did my biometrics today @ Salt Lake City office. Was done in about 15minutes. I was the only person in there + the staff.

Hi everyone! Im new, so anyways my attorney sent my package December 23,2013.they recieved it December 30th. I got reciepts on January 9th and January 10th I got the letter for biometrics for January 23... I have to show up at the Fort Worth location and not sure if they would accept walk-ins . Please share your timeline with me please! Im becoming a nervous wreck!!!
